Animate has posted screenshots for tomorrow’s episode, Keep on moving!! March Forward, Sealand!, which adapts the rest of the story of the same name from Volume 4, as well as the omake manga from the Volume 4 Special Edition booklet and what is projected to be Germany is playing an impossible game from the original webcomic. This episode marks the formal debuts of Wy and Seborga, and the new art style debut of Liechtenstein. Many of these screenshots are higher-quality shots of the same ones previously seen in the July edition of Comic Birz.

Next week’s episode, the season finale, will be It’s the First Anniversary! The Tripartite Pact from Volume 5. Based on the original source material from the manga, The Axis trio celebrate the one year anniversary of the Tripartite Pact.

I think I can mention this “officially” now. fireheart14 pointed me to a cache of Himaruya’s original Yahoo blog. It ran in 2008 from January 31 to April 21st, then was deleted and he moved to FC2. So I’ve spent the past few days copying the posts over and fixing what time-stamps I could with web archive.

Aside from a few minor things, it’s currently completely untranslated and of course the cache didn’t save any images, so I just inserted some placeholder images. But for the most part it’s ready for viewing.

You can browse everything from it together using the “yahoo blog” tag, or go by month:

On a side note, the original cache was accessible through Google Reader, which is scheduled to become defunct on July 1st, so I’m going to keep the original Japanese and any translations that come about together on the blog.

June 14th is Flag Day here in the good old U.S. of A. Originally celebrated to commemorate the adoption of the U.S. flag, the holiday was not nearly sparkly enough for our taste. So, we’re going to jazz it up a little with a Hetalia Tumblr contest!

Here’s what we’re asking our Hetalians to do:

Follow the FUNimation and Official Hetalia Tumblr pages

Design your own flag to represent Hetalia: The Beautiful World

Post the image to Tumblr using the hashtags #FUNimation and #HetaliaFlagDayContest (this is to ensure that the images are searchable and that we can include your entry)

You can use any medium your heart desires: digital, crayon, paint, fabric, whatever—just as long as you can upload an image of it.

Just to be clear, your flag does not have to feature America. You can choose any Hetalian nation, or something that represents the series as a whole. Entrants may optionally include an explanation of their flag. We will be choosing one lucky winner based on creativity to win a flag-riffic Hetalia prize.

Animate has posted screenshots for tomorrow’s episode, Hetalia of the Dead - Second Part, which adapts the rest of the story of the same name from Volume 5. This episode marks the formal debut of India. Many of these screenshots are higher-quality shots of the same ones previously seen on Tumblr these past few weeks and in the July edition of Comic Birz.

Next week’s episode will be Keep on moving!! March Forward, Sealand! from Volume 4. Andy asked me to write a post about our newest milestone because he had no idea what to write. And you know what? Neither do I! When this blog was launched in February 2012, never did I imagine we’d make it to 3000 (and since this screenshot was taken, we gained three more followers). Heck, I didn’t even think we’d make to 2000! And of course, you proved us wrong!

We say this all the time but we’re truly grateful for putting your support in us because it means a lot. We’ll keep doing our best on our part in bringing you the latest in all things Hetalia and maintaining the wiki! Keep being fabulous as always!
